Please help us give a warm CSEI Welcome to Winni, our newest Project Coordinator Intern! Campbell Spellicy Engineering City of Newberry City Campus Project with Monarch Design Group

It's always such a pleasure working with Monarch Design Group, whose Architectural Designs for the City of Newberry "City Campus" were recently approved. This project includes a renovation of 3,000 square feet and the development of a modern two-story building spanning 11,000 square feet. The primary goal of the City of Newberry was to establish a centralized campus capable of housing all administrative departments on a single site, with the ability to accommodate future staff expansion.

We're thrilled to handle MEP, and work with an incredible team in addition to Monarch, which includes Wayland Structural Engineering for structural support, CHW Professional Consultants for civil engineering, and Scorpio Construction for their cost estimation services. Check out Monarch's full post here to learn more about this project. Thanks so much for sharing, Monarch! We cannot wait to see this one come to fruition!

Campbell Spellicy Engineering has an Onsite Visit to UF

Kevin took the mechanical team for some onsite, real-world training as a follow up to CSEI's recent in-house hydronics and air handling unit training classes.  As an added benefit, UF Engineering was nice enough to let us use the mechanical penthouse at the Herbert Wertheim Laboratory for Engineering Excellence Building for our visit, allowing designers to put a real world picture to the systems and components that we design on our projects.

CSEI has extensive experience designing, replacing, and upgrading custom chilled water and heating hot water systems, as well as air handling units for UF. Ensuring our newest team members have expertise in these system types is critical to delivering the best possible outcome for projects in the future. Let us know how we might be able to assit you!

Campbell Spellicy Engineering is a presenter at Take Stock in Children STEM Camp

We were honored to act as a presenter at this year's Take Stock in Children STEM Camp! Camp provides a safe environment for children to develop social skills, decision-making, and this camp can help them explore career fields in STEM. 94% of the students who attended said STEM Camp influenced their career interests!

Students said; 🌟"10 out of 10 would recommend!" 🌟"This is the best camp I've ever came to." 🌟"Loved the solar cars!"

Be sure to keep this in mind for next summer for your kiddos! Thanks so much also to The Education Foundation of Alachua County!

Campbell Spellicy Engineering Gainesville Loves the Gators Scavenger Hunt

We had SO much fun this year for the 3rd Annual Gainesville Loves the Gators Community Wide Scavenger Hunt! Our CSEI office was so happy to act as a hiding location, and our team members had a blast hunting for other gators at many of our amazing local businesses in our Greater Gainesville Community! If you missed the fun this year, fear not! Next year, in celebration of the Chamber’s Centennial Anniversary, they will be hiding 100 GATORS across our community, so starting beefing up your GNV knowledge now! A big thanks to our amazing Chamber for coordinating! We cannot wait for next year!

Campbell Spellicy Engineering attends BANCF Commercial Builders Council Luncheon

We always enjoy attending the BANCF Commercial Builders Council Luncheons! Colton and Charles recently attended the last meeting and heard from guest speaker, Representative Stan McClain, District 27 who covered important Legislative updates from last session along with a preview to the next session. BANCF events are a great way to network, make new business connectins, and keep up to date on issues surrounding the industry and the community. If you’re not already a BANCF member, we highly recommend it. For more information, click here.

Campbell Spellicy Employee Visits Greenheck Engineering Wisconsin

Recently, Ari spent 3 days expanding his understanding of fans, louvers, dampers, and other key components of HVAC systems at Greenheck’s Engineering Education Center in Schofield, Wisconsin. During his visit he not only attended multiple days of certified training courses, but also was able to tour their factory and see in person how these items are manufactured and assembled. Seeing these items first hand is invaluable in understanding the options and constraints in our HVAC system designs!
